Love it more than I wanted to....
I'm an avid hot cloth cleanser fan, so I have to admit I didn't want this to become my favourite, but after trying a well known cleansing oil as a pre-makeup, makeup remover before my hot cloth cleanser, I decided to take the plunge and give this a go in a bid to obliterate that pesky 3 step cleansing routine forever.
I definitely wouldn't have paid full price first time, but after receiving a £10 off voucher for reviewing my beloved Liquid Gold, I gave it a try. I'm glad I did! The balm smells like heaven, and there teeny tiny little grains in it that don't quite feel like an exfoliant but are satisfying to run over your skin as your makeup melts away. A little goes a long way, and although I'm told that one cleanse is all that's required, I'm a triple cleanse girl and so the very least I'll do is two.
I was expecting my perimenopausal, occasionally acnic skin to break out the next day but....I didn't. And it still hasn't.
Am I converted.....? Hmmmm, I'd love to be but this is an expensive way to remove my make-up when I can use incorporate an extra step and an additional 3 minutes per day for half the price. I think I'll switch between the two for now unless I see an offer on in which allows me to use it more often for a while.
